Centennial Community Center, operated by Tri-Valley Improvement Association, invites everyone in the community to participate in our events. We are a group of volunteers who want to enhance the spirit of community in our local area by providing opportunities for friendship, enrichment and good old fashioned fun.
Centennial Community Center is for the whole community. We are pleased to be now hosting the WIC program. We also had a few bicycle groups pass through this summer on their way across country. If you have an idea for an event, class, or service to the community, please bring it to the Boards attention by email:

2013 UPCOMING EVENTS:
- Music Jams (Wednesday evenings 6:30) are underway come play or just listen and enjoy. A donation of $1 per person is requested.
Quilters meet on Tuesdays starting around 9am. Newcomers are always welcome. Bring your project. A donation of $1 per person is requested.
Lunches resume November 6th NOTE NEW DAY- Wednesdays. A donation of $4.00 is requested, but please come even if you cannot pay. Jeanne Fuller will be our lunch manager this season. Want to help? Get your Food Handler card and contact her at (928) 273-3406. This months menu: Nov. 13 - Home-made Chicken soup, crackers, dessert. Nov. 20. - Pasta w/sweet Italian sausage in marinara sauce, salad, dessert. Nov. 27 - Meatloaf, roasted potatoes, veggie, dessert
Friendship Book Club resumes this month, $5 Fee per monthly meeting.
November 2013 6th Lunches resume - Nov. 6 - Frito Pie, fruit, dessert 7th Food Handler Classes will be offered by the Health Department at Centennial on Thursday, November 7th at 10:00a.m. or 2:00 pm. Get your Food Handler Card so you can volunteer to help our non-profits this year! Its free and easy. These classes will be hard to get this year due to cutbacks, so come on out for this. 9th Dance Melody Masters Saturday, Nov. 9th, 7pm-9pm.$4 Admission 30th Our Community Dinner is scheduled for Saturday, November 30th from 5:00-6:00pm. The menu will be Potato Bar with lots of toppings, beverage and dessert all for only $5. Touch base with neighbors and relax a little! 30th Dance Barefoot n Boots Saturday, Nov. 30th, 7pm-9pm. $4 Admission
Please join us when you can. We are always looking for additional volunteers to help at events, greet visitors during hours of operation, and help in various other ways. Please contact us at the library to discuss volunteer opportunities or to ask questions or speak to the volunteer in the office Mon-Thurs 10am-2pm (859-3069).
Our lunches, dinners and events are very affordable so that everyone can participate. If you are financially fortunate, please consider making a separate donation to help us cover our costs (utilities, restroom supplies, insurance, trash, propane, office supplies etc.) Make tax deductible checks payable to Tri-Valley Improvement Association.
The Centennial Community Center has a beautiful setting on Centennial Park Road half way between Wenden and Salome south of Hwy 60 - directly across from the Greasewood Golf Course.
The Centennial Community Center is owned by La Paz County and operated by Tri-Valley Improvement Association, a non-profit, all volunteer organization with a mission to
"Improving the Outback, One Life at a Time".

Located in the Community Center and replaces the Indian Hills Branch Library that was previous located in Salome.

This facility was constructed in part using Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development and the Arizona Department of Housing
Additional funding for this project was provided by: La Paz County Board of Supervisors, Colorado River Indian Tribes, Western Arizona Council of Governments - Area Agency on Aging, plus private donations of funds, labor and expertise.
