The course can be challenging because of the narrow fairways and Greasewood trees on either side of the fairways. The course offers a unique and wonderful "Outback" experience.

The golf course was dedicated in 1999 in honor of Dick Wick Hall and his 1920's Greasewood Golf Lynx. Dick Wick Hall's Granddaughter and Great Granddaughter from Washington DC both attended the ceremony.
