Is a new community popping up in the Arizona Outback??

CENTENNIAL, ARIZONA

The McMullen Valley Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors recently met with Mr. Tom Tierney, of Sun West Land and Development, LTD, and Mr. Terry Fitzgerald of Synergy, and Community Planners, to discuss impacts on our communities by their proposed development.

Mr. Tierney presented preliminary drawings of the development, which includes: Large, medium and small single lot family homes, cluster-lot single family homes, town homes, condominium homes, multi-family rental homes, modular homes (on foundations), a RV park for seasonal use, a village center, community recreation area, parks, recreation and open space (24% of gross site), neighborhood commercial area ( 8 acres), community commercial area (10 acres), business park, professional area, religious facilities, golf course (included in open area), hotel, motel, bed & breakfast facilities, public facilities including schools, municipal facilities (water/sewer treatment, etc.), continuing care retirement home, independent care/assisted living home, skilled nursing facility, emergency medical/hospital, private school and a civic center. Total acreage is 2700.

The Arizona Department of Water Resources has issued "Proof of Physical Availability" and "Proof of Demand" certificates regarding water.
