IMHOFF MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

• Applicant must be a graduate of Salome High School.

• Applicant must have completed a minimum of one year of post-secondary education (trade school, community college, university).

• Applicant must be a full-time student.

• Applicant must have a GPA of 2.0 or greater.

• Applicant will write a letter to the Scholarship Committee which include the following:

• Paragraph listing the applicant’s career goals.

• Description of the progress the applicant is making in achieving his/her career goals.

• Paragraph describing any work experience or volunteer experience that the applicant has done.

• Paragraph describing why the applicant feels the committee should select him/her.

• Paragraph describing how the applicant has assisted with the golf tournament.

• Letter is due to the Scholarship Committee by April 1, 2007. Send letter to:

• The application will include with the letter an official transcript from the college in which he/she is enrolled.

The recipient will receive a letter of notification of the selection and will be presented at Salome High School Graduation Ceremony. The scholarship dollars will be placed on file in the Bursar’s office at the college he/she is attending. The monies may be used for college expenses such as books, supplies, tuition, or housing. If the monies are not used within 12 months, the college will return the monies to the Scholarship Committee to be added to the award for the following year.
